- Throughout the year operates Seasoned Solutions’ Loft Cooking School focusing on hands on cooking classes using local and regional Alberta ingredients;
- May 12, 2007, presented a workshop and cooking demonstration on Food Less Traveled, to CRC Women’s Retreat;
- February 16 to March 4, 2007 lead a Culinary Tour to New Zealand;
- February 9, 2007, NCTCA conference (Norther Centreal Teachers Convention Association) conference, presented a cooking demonstration for Food Science Teachers;
- Host and presenter at the Foodways Cooking Stage of the Smithsonian’s Folklife Festival in Washington, DC, June 30 to July 11, 2006.

- March 3, 2006, GETCA conference (The Greater Edmonton Teachers Convention Association) conference, presented cooking demonstration for Food Science Teachers;
- Conducts weekly cooking demonstrations for the Edmonton Downtown Farmer’s Market, using a full range of vendor products (yearly May to October);
- Since 1990, is a regular instructor for Metro Continuing Education, Edmonton Public Schools, teaching classes on starting a successful catering business, seasonal cooking and décor classes;
- In 1988, began a hands-on cooking school at Gourmet Goodies. Over 4,500 students attended -- it was the only hands-on, participatory cooking school of its kind in Edmonton;
- For over 14 years, is a speaker/presenter at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge’s “Christmas in November”;
- Gail has presented sessions and courses for Alberta Agriculture, Home Economics Branch and is a regular speaker for community associations;
- Conducts seasonal cooking classes for Salisbury Greenhouses;
- Opening speaker at Grande Prairie Regional College for “30 Hottest Careers for Women and How to Get Them” in December 1996;
- Presents sessions and cooking courses for non-profit associations such as Scouts Canada, Medical Wives Association, Edmonton Branch of the Canadian Dietician Association;

- Recognized in May 1995 as a Woman of Vision by ITV. Gail was the second in this monthly series of women chosen for developing a service that has made a difference to Edmonton. Since its inception, Gourmet Goodies demonstrated its ability to maintain its reputation for excellence;
- Award for Recycling Program given by the City of Edmonton in 1993 recognizing Gourmet Goodie’s efforts to reduce its waste by 75%;
- Gail Hall and Gourmet Goodies has been featured in a number of local and national publications: “The Edmontonians” in November 1992, “The Edmonton Journal” and “The Edmonton Sun” regularly mentioned Gourmet Goodies. The November 1990 “Financial Post Magazine” named Gourmet Goodies as one of Canada’s Top Caterers. In 1992 “The Edmonton Journal” reader’s poll named Gourmet Goodies as one of Edmonton’s best catering firms;
- Regular guest chef on ITV’s First News and A Channel’s Big Breakfast;
- Appeared regularly on ITV’s Good Good Morning and CFRN’s Day by Day and conducted cooking demonstrations;
- In September 1992, Gourmet Goodies was featured on CFRN’s Alberta Business.
- Member of the Board of Dirctors for Theatre Network;
- Co-Chair of Epicurean Experience, a fundraiser for the Lois Hole Hospital for Women;
