Gail Hall is an enlightened epicurean, food activist, food writer and educator. In 2005, she began Seasoned Solutions, Loft Cooking School, Culinary Tours and Consulting Company.
Gail Hall’s love of cooking and satisfaction with feeding people fresh, great food, inspired her to leave her successful career as a civil servant and start Gourmet Goodies catering in 1985. Gail’s vision was to provide a customized catering service that could be whatever the client wanted it to be. Gourmet Goodies became an award-winning catering company and one of the top five catering establishments in Canada, setting new standards for food quality, presentation, retailing of local and regional food products, cooking classes and culinary tours.

Seasoned Solutions loft cooking school focuses on cooking with local and regional Alberta ingredients and regularly holds hands-on scheduled cooking classes as well as corporate team-building and private special occasion cooking classes. There's nothing better than cooking a three course meal and then enjoying the fruits of your labours with some paired wines!
Twice a year, Gail hosts culinary tours to great food locations, knowing that the food culture discouvered while travelling, will enrich our food culture back home. Culinary tours to date include: Sante Fe, Louisiana, New York, Seattle, Italy, New Zealand, Chicago, the southwest of France, Greece and Turkey, San Francisco and Sicily.
Gail also regularly consuults with the the agriculture, food service and hospitality industries on eating well and eating local.
Gail hopes with Seasoned Solutions, to impart her passion, knowledge and life-long love affair with food to others!
