For over 18 years, Gail operated one of the largest customized catering companies in Canada. Gourmet Goodies received over 5 major business awards, earned revenues of over $3 million a year and employed up to 90 full and part time staff.
What's Gail up to now? Her company Seasoned Solutions involves all the things that Gail loves and does best: promoting the use of local and regional foods; conducting hands on cooking classes in her loft cooking school; developing and hosting culinary tours that take people to great countries and locations to learn about their culture and history through their food; media spots including a weekly food column on CBC radio 740 am/93.9 fm and City TV's breakfast tv every other Thursday as well as consulting on exciting food projects.
Gail's volunteer activities also include the things she loves the most -- food and the visual arts. Currently, Gail is on the board of Cuisine Canada, a national assocation of food professionals from every level of the food industry (farmers, processors, restauranteurs, caterers, food activists and media) as well the board of Theatre Network and Global's Women of Vision.
